How to paint Commander Dante
Dante is gold armour with red accents and a death mask. Match Blood Angels infantry red on the cloak, then push the gold plate. Unofficial fan recipe.

Gold armour
Base Retributor Armour. Shade Agrax Earthshade heavily in recesses. Layer Liberator Gold on plates, edge Stormhost Silver on the sharpest rims. Keep some Agrax in the deepest pits so the gold does not look flat.

Red cloth and gems
Cloak and purity seals: Mephiston Red or Blood Angels Red, shade Carroburg Crimson, edge Evil Sunz Scarlet. Gems: Abaddon Black base, then Blood Angels Red, White Scar pinpoint.

Death mask and base
Mask: same gold recipe with a cleaner Stormhost Silver edge. Eyes: Warp Lightning or Talassar Blue glow. Base: Martian Ironcrust or Stirland Mud to match Baal-flavoured ground.
