Hashutite Host: The Resilient Infantry Wall (AoS 4th Ed)

An infantry formation that makes your Infernal Cohorts far harder to shift by improving their recovery when running on full daemonic power.

Hashutite Host rewards an infantry-centric list, improving the durability and staying power of maxed Infantry units. Like every Helsmith formation it keys off the full 3 Daemonic Power Points; verify the exact benefit and any conditions against your current battletome.

What the formation does

Reported effect: maxed Infantry units gain extra Rally rolls when using the Rally command, letting them claw back models and hold the line longer. Paired with warscroll DPP bonuses like a Ward on the Infernal Cohort, the wall becomes very sticky.

Who it suits

Players who want a grinding, board-control game: hold objectives, absorb damage, and let artillery and casters do the killing while the infantry refuses to break.

Key units

  • Infernal Cohort (Hashutite Spears) - defensive anchor and objective holder
  • Infernal Cohort (Hashutite Blades) - the more aggressive pushing block
  • Infernal Razers - ranged infantry support
  • Hobgrot Vandalz - expendable screens (note: they can't be empowered)

When to pick it

Pick it for an objective-grinding, attritional list built on big infantry blocks. Less suited to fast hammer lists or pure gunlines that don't intend to hold ground with infantry.

Common questions

Do Hobgrots benefit from Hashutite Host?

No. Hobgrots cannot hold Daemonic Power Points, so they never reach 3 DPP. They remain a disposable screen rather than part of the empowered wall.

Is the extra Rally worth building around?

For an attritional, hold-the-line plan it adds real resilience, but only while units are maxed. Confirm the number of extra rolls and any conditions in the current battletome.
