This is SprueSentry strategy commentary, not official rules. The parts of this detachment amended in the Aeldari Faction Pack version 1.3 Rules Updates are confirmed against that document. The rest of the stratagem and enhancement lists come from the 10th-edition Codex: Aeldari and are cross-checked across two independent community rules mirrors. Detachment Point costs and enhancement points are checked against the official Munitorum Field Manual web edition but move with dataslates, so confirm them in the Warhammer 40,000 app before a game.

Aspect Host is the Aeldari Aspect Warrior detachment: a 3-Detachment-Point package built around a spread of elite shrine warriors β Fire Dragons, Howling Banshees, Striking Scorpions and more. It reflects Warhammer 40,000 11th edition (10th-ed Codex: Aeldari plus the Aeldari Faction Pack, currently version 1.3, legal for matched play from 26 August 2026).
This is SprueSentry strategy commentary, not official rules. This is a codex detachment, so the pack doesn't reprint it in full, but its Rules Updates section rewrites the Skyborne Sanctuary stratagem, and that amendment is confirmed against the document. The rest of the lists come from the 10th-edition codex, cross-checked across two independent community rules mirrors. DP costs and enhancement points move with dataslates, so confirm them in the Warhammer 40,000 app before a game.
Each time an Aspect Warriors or Avatar of Khaine unit shoots or fights, you choose one buff for it: re-roll Hit rolls of 1, or re-roll Wound rolls of 1. It's a flexible offensive tune-up β every shrine picks the re-roll that matters against the target in front of it, so a mixed-shrine list gets maximum value. Fire Dragons take the Wound re-roll to melt a tank; Banshees take the Hit re-roll into infantry. Simple, and it scales with how well you read the matchup.
Choose it for an aggressive elite-infantry army built around a spread of Aspect Warrior shrines rather than tanks or Wraiths. It rewards knowing your matchups β the re-roll choice and modifier-ignoring Warrior Focus let each unit spike exactly when it commits. It costs the full 3 DP, so no support detachment. It suits a player comfortable managing fragile-but-deadly units and Battle Focus tokens.
Sample gameplan: deploy shrines in or near Wave Serpents and Falcons. Use Agile Manoeuvres to reposition, then commit each shrine into its ideal target β Fire Dragons with the Wound re-roll plus Warrior Focus to delete a tank, Banshees with the Hit re-roll into infantry. Lead a core shrine with an Autarch carrying Mantle of Wisdom for both re-rolls, screen with Dire Avengers, and use Skyborne Sanctuary and To Their Final Breath to punish counter-attacks.
3 DP β the full budget at 2,000 points, so it can't take a support detachment. It's a single self-contained elite-infantry package.
Path of the Warrior: each time an Aspect Warriors or Avatar of Khaine unit shoots or fights, you choose one buff β re-roll Hit rolls of 1, or re-roll Wound rolls of 1 β so each shrine picks the re-roll that matters against its target.
Mantle of Wisdom on an Autarch, which grants the bearer's unit both Path of the Warrior re-rolls at once (Hit 1s and Wound 1s) instead of choosing one β a big consistency boost on your core shrine.
A spread of Aspect Warrior shrines β Fire Dragons, Howling Banshees, Striking Scorpions, Dark Reapers and others β plus the Avatar of Khaine as an anchor and Autarchs to carry the enhancements. A mixed-shrine list gets the most from the re-roll choice.
