Prescient Redeployment
From the second battle round onwards, at the start of your Movement phase, if you did not select the maximum number of GREY KNIGHTS units for the Gate of Infinity ability at the end of your opponent's previous turn, you can select one Grey Knights unit on the battlefield that could have been selected using Gate of Infinity, remove it from the battlefield and place it into Strategic Reserves. This is an explicit second bite at the army rule, and the conditional is the whole design: it only fires if you left capacity unused, so it rewards holding one slot back rather than always maxing out. The designer's note spells out the sequencing benefit, which is genuinely useful and easy to miss. Your unit keeps its position on the battlefield through the end of your Command phase, which is when objectives are scored, and only then goes into Strategic Reserves at the start of your Movement phase, to be set up somewhere else in your Reinforcements step. You score the objective and then leave. Note the same eligibility conditions as the army rule apply, so a unit within Engagement Range of an enemy cannot be selected.
