Thunderquake Starhost is the monster battle formation for Seraphon in Age of Sigmar 4th edition, and the least demanding of the four: there is nothing to remember and nothing to trigger.

The formation ability is Scaly Monstrosities, and it is passive. Add 2 to the Health characteristic of friendly Seraphon Monster units.
No trigger, no range, no once-per-turn limit. Every Monster in the list is simply harder to kill for the whole game, and the bonus applies from the first activation to the last.
Monsters die to being finished off. Two extra Health regularly moves a Stegadon or a Bastiladon out of range of a single big enemy activation, which turns a lost model into a model that fights for another turn.
It also protects your Monster Heroes, so a Carnosaur or Troglodon that is carrying a heroic trait or an artefact keeps carrying it. If you are running the Scourge of Aqshy Beasts of the Dark Jungle monstrous traits, the extra Health is what buys those traits enough turns to matter.
Players who have committed points to three or more Monsters. With one dinosaur this is a small bonus on a single model, and the other Starhosts will do more for the rest of the army.
Pick Thunderquake Starhost when your Monsters are the core of the list rather than a supporting act, or when you want a formation that costs you no attention so you can spend it on the Asterism conditions instead. If your Monsters are Skink-crewed support pieces behind a Saurus line, Sunclaw Starhost buffs the units doing the work.
It is passive: friendly Seraphon Monster units add 2 to their Health characteristic. There is no trigger, range or usage limit.
Yes. Any friendly Seraphon Monster unit qualifies, so Carnosaur-mounted Heroes and the Skink Oracle on Troglodon benefit alongside the Stegadons and Bastiladons.
Rarely. It is a flat bonus on Monsters only, so with a single dinosaur you spend your one formation slot on one model while the rest of the army gets nothing.
