Boss Tribe is the combat tempo battle formation for Sons of Behemat in Age of Sigmar 4th edition, and the one with the highest ceiling in a fight.

The formation ability is Big Mouth, used once per turn as a reaction to a friendly Mega-Gargant using a Fight ability. Pick a friendly Gargant unit that has not used a Fight ability this turn and is wholly within 12 inches of that Mega-Gargant. It fights immediately after the Mega-Gargant finishes.
This is an out-of-sequence activation, which in Age of Sigmar is one of the strongest effects a formation can grant. Two of your models swing back to back, and your opponent does not get to answer in between.
The unit that gets the free activation must be a Gargant, not a Mega-Gargant. In practice that means Mancrusher Gargants and the Mancrusher Mob, so a list of nothing but Mega-Gargants cannot use this formation at all.
The wholly within 12 inches clause is the second half. Your Mancrushers have to travel with a Mega-Gargant rather than roaming for objectives, which is a real cost in a faction whose speed is one of its few advantages.
Players running a mixed list: two or three Mega-Gargants with a Mancrusher escort. It rewards fighting in one place with everything at once, which suits a player who wants to break a flank rather than spread across the board.
Pick Boss Tribe when you own Mancrushers and intend to fight alongside your Mega-Gargants. If your Mancrushers are objective-runners operating on their own, the 12 inch leash costs more than the extra activation is worth, and Stomper Tribe or Taker Tribe will suit better.
Once per turn, when a friendly Mega-Gargant uses a Fight ability, a friendly Gargant unit that has not fought this turn and is wholly within 12 inches of it fights immediately afterwards.
No. The unit picked has to be a Gargant, which in practice means a Mancrusher Gargant or a Mancrusher Mob. An all Mega-Gargant list gets nothing from this formation.
Wholly within 12 inches of the Mega-Gargant that just fought, so every model in the unit has to be inside that range when the reaction is declared.
