Desperate for Redemption
At the start of the battle round you can select one of three Vows of Atonement to be active for your army until the start of the next battle round, and you can only select each Vow once per battle. The Path of the Penitent adds 3 inches to the Move of PENITENT models from your army. Absolution in Battle adds 1 to the Attacks and Strength of melee weapons equipped by PENITENT models in a unit that made a Charge move this turn. Death Before Disgrace lets a PENITENT model destroyed by a melee attack roll one D6 and, on a 2+, fight before being removed. The once-per-battle clause is the part players get wrong: this is not a menu you re-pick each round, it is three uses total across the whole game, so the order you spend them in is the actual decision. The pack's Rules Updates rewrote this rule's first paragraph, and this is the rewritten wording.
