The formation ability is Postprandial Warfare, used once per turn at the end of any turn. Pick up to a rolled number of friendly Ogor Infantry units that were in combat this turn with an enemy unit that was destroyed this turn. Each of them gets one slain model back.
One model does not sound like much until you remember how few models an Ogor unit has. Returning one body to a three-model or five-model unit is a large fraction of that unit, and the rest of the game is played with it.
Both halves have to be true. The unit has to have been in combat with something that died, and it has to have lost a model for there to be anything to return. A unit that wipes an enemy without taking a casualty gets nothing, and a unit that took casualties from shooting gets nothing either.
That makes this a formation for grinding melee, not for clean alpha strikes.
Players who run several Ogor Infantry blocks and expect long, messy combats in the middle of the board. It is the most cost-efficient of the mirror-carried options if your list is infantry rather than monsters.
Pick Greedy Eaters if you are running an infantry-heavy Ogor list and you are confident about its legality in your event. If you want recursion with first-party confirmation, Maw-cult Fanatics heals rather than returns models and applies to your whole army, monsters included.
